123/365: Kite Flying on World Press Freedom Day

Together with my colleagues at the Photojournalists’ Center of the Philippines (PCP), I joined the annual kite flying activity in commemoration of World Press Freedom Day at UP Diliman today. It was organized by the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines.

Enjoyed a night of music & poetry at Freedom bar today. A friend invited me to recite a poem but I sang an acapella of one of my songs instead. Letting that song out in front of this crowd just felt so… liberating.

So happy to meet new friends and Ericson Acosta, one of my favorite songwriters! ๐Ÿ™‚

53/365: Second wedding of the week!

DY

…But now, as a guest! Hence this aisle shot. This is DY with her father as she tries to hold back her tears. It was a wedding full of good vibes & love.

We won a sweet couple pillow case and each guest had a surprise lottery ticket! Of course I didn’t win, but it’s a very unique idea for a souvenir. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Congrats DY and Eric!
